Cooking Macaroni and Cheese

Today I made some mac and cheese, and it was delicious! Some of the ingredients I used were: Small elbow macaroni, for the sauce I used milk, some flower, and sour cream all topped with Mexican shredded cheese (Williams 79). After that the book said to, "Mix the sauce and macaroni, and bake it for 20 minutes at 400 degrees" (Williams 79). Then, after I took it out of the water, I mixed the macaroni with the sauce. It was scrumptious! This book really helped me to make some delicious mac and cheese, which I barely knew how to do before. I really recommend this book for others wanting to learn to cook. Furthermore, I was wondering what some good side dishes are to go with this meal to fill up a large appetite? Thank you!

  1. I have a little brother who loves to eat mac and cheese, therefore I make this dish for him all the time but I always use the same brand of macaroni and I was wondering what macaroni you used for this?

    1. I used "Elbow Mac and Cheese" by Kraft. It has a really nice shape and texture that brings out the flavor of the mac and cheese. I recommend it! Thanks for your comment!

  2. Hey Cristian
I make macaroni and cheese often since it is easy and quick to make. But the way I make it is very basic, I'll try to make it they way you did and hopefully it turns out good.

    1. Thanks for your comment Mohjeet! I'm glad you're interested in the way I made this mac and cheese, it's tastier than the regular mac and cheese style in my opinion. Hope it goes well for you when you make it!
